Teberah Alexander, RN, BSN, CDP, MLD-C, is a long-time nurse and entrepreneur renowned for her expertise, compassion, and inspirational teaching style. Over the past 14 years, Teberah has developed a healthcare empire; she first created Compassionate Home Care Services, Kathelene's Adult Day Care, and Kathelene's Senior Village to serve a population of elderly individuals whose health needs were ignored. Shortly after, she opened Excelling Nursing Academy, a Nursing Assistant & CNA School, and Caregiving Staffing Solutions - to provide employment opportunities in the greater Detroit area.

Most recently, in 2021, Teberah opened Nurse T's Body Bar to uplift and empower through beauty and body services, specializing in body shaping, nursing concierge services, and post-op care.

Teberah is genuinely dedicated to empowering superior patient care and services throughout her community and beyond; many highly regard her as a dependable leader whose efficiency and diligence have built successful team morale.

Above all, Teberah is a loving mother to Amiya Alexander, an Alumni of NYU, a professional dancer, and a Detroit Pistons Dance Team member. Teberah spends her leisure time traveling, mentoring, educating, and changing the lives of everyone whom she meets.

Excelling Nursing Academy

Excelling Nursing Academy is a Farmington Hills, Michigan- based school founded by Teberah Alexander RN, BSN.

Certified Nursing Assistants are essential in the overall operations of any health care facility or home health care agency. Their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course is designed to present the knowledge, terminology, and basic nursing skills necessary to become a certified nursing assistant, especially in reference to long-term care facilities.

They provide quality AHA training at an affordable price, including Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED and Pediatric/Infant CPR courses. ENA trains health care professionals, corporate and industrial employees, day care workers, teachers, lifeguards, students, and parents.

Kathelene’s Adult Day Care

Kathlene’s Adult Day Care provides a one-stop shop for activities and services to adults in their Golden Years. With a great amount of care and compassion, our staff helps seniors foster self-esteem by keeping them physically, socially, and emotionally active. We strive to make Kathelene’s a home away from home by creating a safe and comfortable environment.

Caregivers seeking a respite can rest easy knowing that their loved ones are in good hands with individualized activities to create a holistic environment that fits the needs of all the people we serve.

Nurse T’s Body Bar

Nurse T’s Body Bar is Detroit’s luxury Post Op massage and Lymphatic Drainage provider. Achieve your best results with our trained, professional and compassionate staff. Services include manual lymphatic drainage, drain removal, traveling nurse concierge and much more! Our staff are equipped to solve even the most complex and unique Post Op needs

Mary Eliza Mahoney

Mary Eliza MaHoney is the first African- American licensed nurse. The daughter of freed slaves in Boston, Mahoney graduated from a rigorous program at one of the nation’s first nursing schools in New England.

Throughout her life, she broke barriers in Nursing Organizations that had never been available to women of color. She went on to care for black orphans at Howard Orphanage Asylum in New York City.

Florence nightingale

Florence Nightingale is a British nurse who is known as the mother of modern nursing. Popularly referred to as “The Woman With The Lamp” as she cared for soldiers during the Crimean War, Nightingale founded the first formal Nursing School in London in 1860.

Her dedication to education and patient care paved the way for the nursing profession as we know it today.
